School Office Administrator

Role Profile: Business Support Grade 6, Scale Point 7 to 8

18 hours per week, preferably mornings from 8.30am; term time only (38 weeks + 1 week)

Salary: £25,183 to £25,992 (pro rata)

The Headteacher and Governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated and well organised School Administrator who can demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and maintain high standards within the school office environment.

The position is required from 22^nd April 2025 although consideration will be given to an earlier start date.

The administrator is the first point of contact for visitors to school and as such will represent the ethos of the establishment.  Excellent communication and administrative skills are therefore essential. Experience of financial procedures would be advantageous.

The successful candidate will be a team player with a good sense of humour and a positive attitude. They should be able to work efficiently and harness the potential of IT to innovate the systems and processes. A high degree of confidentiality is essential.

The post is for 18 hours to be worked over 4 or five days, ideally mornings.
