Why not make a card for someone you are missing? Take a photo and get mum/dad to send the picture to them by email or social media.

Find a cake recipe that you could have a go at.

Other ideas:

Write a poem (you're all really good at this) about how you're feeling, what you'll do when you can go out properly again, how much you're missing school (!!) or anything that takes your fancy. Type it up and send it to us.

Write a quiz for your family.

Lexia at home

At Borrowdale School your child may be using a programme called Lexia Reading Core 5 which they use on our ipads. This programme helps the children with their reading and spelling skills. The children enjoy playing the educational games and we have seen a real improvement in their reading and spelling ability from using this programme. Your child is also able to access this from home.

Your child can use Lexia through the internet by going to the following website:

Your child is familiar with this website as they have used it to practice spellings from their statutory word list as well as prefixes, suffixes and spelling patterns
