Policies

Our vision, “educating for life in all its fullness” (John 10:10), shapes every aspect of our school’s policies, procedures and daily practice. The Christian principles that underpin our vision call on us to nurture not only academic achievement, but also the spiritual, emotional, physical and social wellbeing of every individual within our school community. As a result, our policies are designed to be inclusive, compassionate and rooted in dignity, ensuring that all members of the school feel valued, safe and able to flourish.

In practice, this vision informs our commitment to high-quality teaching and learning that develops curiosity, resilience and a love of lifelong learning. Our behaviour and safeguarding policies emphasise respect, restoration and care, reflecting our belief in the inherent worth of every person. Procedures are implemented with fairness and consistency, but always with an awareness of individual needs and circumstances, promoting both justice and empathy.

Ultimately, our vision and values ensure that our policies are not based solely on outcomes, but on how well they enable each person to experience “life in all its fullness”: to grow in confidence, character, faith, and understanding, and to make a positive contribution to the wider world.

School policies cover every aspect of school life. There is a policy review cycle in school which means that policies are constantly under review and amended at regular intervals. Below you will find the policies that schools must publish online, but there are many more policies that schools are required to have. If you want to know our policy on something else, or if you would like a printed version of any of the school's policies, please ask the school office. For details on Admissions or our use of the Pupil Premium Grant and Sports Premium Funding, please click on the 'Information' tab above.

We have split the policies into categories so that it is easier for you to find the policy you are looking for:

This part of the website is continuously updated. If the policy you are looking for is on this page, please contact the school office and we will happily send you a copy or print a copy for you.
