It’s been a busy day so far, but I am pleased that the call to move to remote learning was made by the school before the Prime Minister changed his mind last night, which has given us a bit of a head start. Learning packages were delivered yesterday to all children who were not expected in school, Class Dojo has been revived and every class has been on Zoom today. What an achievement! We will continue to review the way we support the children to improve things wherever we can. Please let us have your feedback on what works and what doesn’t. Things will change in the weeks to come and we are happy to review anything that can be improved.
Although the media keep saying that schools are closed, this really does annoy me. We are open and staff are working hard to support your children’s learning remotely or at school in the case of priority children. Equally, there is a serious expectation that pupils will engage with their work. We will check this systematically and we will inform parents immediately where there is a concern so a solution can be found. Please don’t hesitate to contact us via Dojo, email or telephone if there is anything we can do to help your child!
Many thanks for your continued support.
