Borrowdale CE Primary School is a school we are proud of. The school is a vibrant, positive place to be. Our children enjoy coming to school and are motivated by their successes. They know that this school welcomes their whole family and works with them as a team, with the welfare and education of each child being our focus. We all work hard together to make our school the best it can be.
Our vision for the school and core Christian values underpin everything we do. They define what we feel is important and what we set out to achieve. We have a School Improvement Plan that shows how we will achieve our vision and how we will allocate resources to do this. We are constantly looking for ways to progress and improve and to do even better.
The overall vision for Borrowdale School for it to be a happy and safe place where all pupils enjoy an excellent education. With small classes and excellent pupil/teacher ratios, we are able to offer a more personalised approach to education and our staff are able to give each child a high level of individual attention, thereby unlocking their true potential.
Our vision and values are at the core of everything we do. They underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils as confident, happy citizens.
At Borrowdale Church of England Primary School, our aim is to create a stimulating, secure and supportive environment where pupils are challenged and encouraged to develop towards their full potential.
We have high expectations of every individual and seek to develop the whole child academically, physically, spiritually, morally and culturally, where quality relationships, positive self esteem, mutual respect and responsibility are promoted.
We believe that our Christian values and the partnerships between pupil, parents, staff, governors, the Church and the wider community are vital to the success of the school.
